I have been in private practice in Louisville, Kentucky since 2000. I am licensed to practice law before all state and federal courts in the Commonwealth. I am a member in good standing with the Louisville and Kentucky Bar Associations. I am the editor of the Kentucky Tort and Insurance Law Journal, the first internet publication dedicated to discussing the most recent legal issues affecting Kentucky's tort and insurance law.
I am a graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law, where I was a member of the Mock Trial Team. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Louisville, with a dual major in Psychology and Political Science.
Before attending law school, I enjoyed an exciting and diverse career, working with the Jefferson County Public Schools, Ten Broeck Psychiatric Hospital, and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I also served in Kentucky's Army National Guard, where I graduated from the United States Military Police School and Kentucky's Officer Candidate School, where I received a commission.
I assist insurance companies, their insureds, individuals, and businesses with cases requiring a specialized understanding of tort and insurance law. However, my clients retain more than just an experienced and knowledgeable attorney in this area. They retain a counselor who is attentive to their needs and capable of working closely with them to achieve results quickly and efficiently.
My diverse background helps me to listen to my clients' concerns and offer practical solutions for their problems. No issue in my practice area is to novel or complex to handle. However, on occasion I am unable to take a case. If this happens I can refer you to an attorney who may be of assistance.
